SENIOR STUDIO SEMINAR

   SA396, SA397: Fall and Spring Semesters

   Senior Studio is a directed seminar in which students are expected to work independently towards the culmination of their professional art practices at The University of Rochester. This course facilitates the development and presentation of the student's artistic body of work through studio visits and critiques, the viewing and discussion of related artistic works and techniques, short readings on contemporary art, written assignments related to professional and scholarly arenas and studio time. The culmination of Senior Studio is a solo show, presented in a public venue. Students are expected to organize and schedule times for studio practice and professional development.
